Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aircraft Services Operations Specialist to join our team at Swissport. As a key member of our ground handling team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our ramp services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure handling services are provided in accordance with ground handling agreements with customer airlines.
  • Maintain applicable safety standards and care of Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
  • Ensure adherence to quality targets and arrange for quality measurements.
  • Identify business opportunities and sector trends.
  • Maintain customer focus and quality awareness.
  • Implement strict control over Ramp Service budget.
  • Maintain reporting system to the Operations Manager.
  • Report all irregularities to Management.
  • Conduct water tests and associated paperwork.
  • Assist with cleaning teams inside the aircraft, as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • In possession of at least three GCSEs/O Level or Leaving Cert (and equivalent).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Leadership ability.
  • Customer focus and quality awareness.
  • Ability to deal with conflict.
  • Flexible to work on various shifts (weekends, and holidays).
  • Ability to speak and understand the English language.
  • Ability to travel to the airport at times where public transport is not available.
  • Ability to follow processes and procedures and apply a flexible approach when required.
  • Willingness to work in inclement weather.
  • Physically fit, able to work in a manual environment.
  • Able to work as a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A full UK driving license.
  • Previous experience working in an aviation environment is desired.
  • Ability to speak additional languages is desired.
