AML and Compliance Role: Anderson Wright Consulting is seeking an experienced AML and Compliance professional to join our team. As an AML and Compliance Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the business remains compliant with regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will include supporting the Head of Compliance in the delivery of monthly and quarterly compliance reports, acting as lead in compliance monitoring, and providing support to the Head of Compliance with advisory activities.

You will work closely with the Head of Compliance to provide timely and accurate advice to the business, coordinate the collation of conduct metrics, and present reports to stakeholders. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills will be essential in identifying and mitigating risks to the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the Head of Compliance in the delivery of monthly and quarterly compliance reports
  2. Act as lead in compliance monitoring, including customer journey reviews and second-line monitoring
  3. Provide support to the Head of Compliance with advisory activities, including the provision of compliance advice and approvals
  4. Collate accurate information to meet regulatory reporting requirements
  5. Support the business with the acquisition and on-boarding of client opportunities


Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will have a working knowledge of regulation and guidance applicable to debt collection, including FCA, Data Protection, OFCOM, CCA, and CSA Code of Practice. You will also have 2+ years of experience gained in a compliance role within an FCA regulated environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure will also be essential.

Salary and Benefits: We offer a competitive salary of circa £33,000, plus additional leave, company pension, employee discount, free parking, gym membership, health & wellbeing programme, and on-site parking.
