Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Compliance Risk Specialist to support the Head of Compliance in delivering timely and accurate regulatory advice to the business. As a key member of the compliance team, you will be responsible for monitoring risks, ensuring adherence to regulations, and providing expertise on compliance matters. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in FCA regulated environments and a strong analytical mindset. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of regulation and guidance applicable to debt collection, as well as the ability to influence stakeholders and peers. Key responsibilities include supporting the Head of Compliance in the delivery of monthly and quarterly reports, conducting compliance monitoring, responding to client audits and information requests, and performing ongoing Horizon Scanning activity. Additionally, you will provide support to the Head of Compliance in performance of advisory activities, including the provision of compliance advice and approvals. A recognized compliance qualification would be desirable but not essential. With your expertise and enthusiasm for compliance, you will play a vital role in promoting a positive compliance culture across the business.

About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a compliance role within an FCA regulated environment, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You will be self-motivated and able to work independently, driving activities and meeting deadlines. Your excellent interpersonal skills and ability to adapt your style and approach in different environments will enable you to effectively communicate with colleagues and stakeholders. Furthermore, you will possess excellent Microsoft Office skills and be confident in using these tools to create reports and presentations.
