Join our team as a Facilities Operations Manager in a pivotal role within the Stonegate Group.

As the UK's largest pub operator, we are seeking a dedicated Facilities Operations Manager to oversee our establishments in the northern regions of England and Scotland. This role is essential for maintaining a safe, compliant, and fully functional property portfolio.

In this position, you will spearhead the management of our facilities supply chain, ensuring that all operational standards and legal requirements are met. You will be responsible for both proactive and reactive facilities management activities, driving continuous improvements throughout the lifecycle of our properties.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the facilities management supply chain across your designated area, particularly during trials and innovations to ensure quality service delivery.
  • Ensuring adherence to design and build standards, as well as compliance with relevant legislation and company-specific requirements.
  • Utilizing monitored performance targets to manage the supply chain effectively and oversee significant business interruption projects to maintain safe operations.
  • Collaborating closely with the Helpdesk, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure accurate budgeting and reporting of repair and maintenance costs.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a fast-paced commercial environment, preferably within the Retail, Food and Beverage, or Leisure sectors.
  • Familiarity with managing complex stakeholder relationships.
  • A degree or equivalent experience in Facilities Management or a related field.
  • Recognition from a professional body such as BIFM or IWFM.
  • Strong commercial insight with a history of making risk-based decisions that yield commercial benefits.
  • Exceptional leadership and relationship management skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of incident management concerning business interruptions.
  • Competent understanding of the UK regulatory framework regarding building safety and compliance.
  • Ability to navigate the diverse expectations of various stakeholder groups.
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Strong IT skills with experience in standard software applications.
