We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our client's busy factory near Heanor. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating 3 and/or 5 axis CNC milling machines.


The Role:

Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be responsible for the following key tasks:

  • Programming and setting up CNC milling machines for production runs
  • Operating 3 and/or 5 axis CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety protocols
  • Collaborating with the team to meet production targets and deadlines

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with CNC milling machines, preferably with Mazak and/or DMG
  • Strong programming skills, with knowledge of G-code and CNC programming languages
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
