About the Role
This Specialist Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship Level 5 is an 18-month long programme that prepares individuals to support learners across various educational settings. The successful candidate will work with students of all ages, often focusing on special educational needs, social and emotional well-being, or specific curriculum areas like EAL, forest schools, or music education.

Duties
The role involves planning, implementing, and adapting learning activities, while drawing on research and reflective practice. The successful candidate will build relationships with learners, families, and professionals, contributing to the development of inclusive, supportive learning environments.

Key Responsibilities
Safeguard and promote the health, safety, and welfare of children
Support students to accomplish their daily goals in a variety of subjects
Work with teachers to understand and support assessment
Develop effective and informed practice
Develop strategies for support

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a GCSE or equivalent English Language (Grade 4/C) and Maths (Grade 4/C).
