Role Overview
A Specialised Education Practitioner is required to support students in various educational settings. This role involves working with teachers to understand and support assessment, developing effective and informed practice, and safeguarding the health, safety, and welfare of children.

About the Apprenticeship
This 18-month apprenticeship prepares individuals to work with students of all ages, focusing on special educational needs, social and emotional well-being, or specific curriculum areas. The apprentice will plan, implement, and adapt learning activities, building relationships with learners, families, and professionals.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting individual and group learning, ensuring student safety, and assisting with assessment and evaluation processes. They may also train and support colleagues in their specialist area.

Career Progression
Upon completion of the apprenticeship, there may be opportunities to progress to a High Level Teaching Assistant position or explore other professional development opportunities.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, teamworking abilities, creativity, initiative, and patience. A GCSE or equivalent English Language (Grade 4/C) and Maths (Grade 4/C) are desirable.
