KS2 Educator Vacancy

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated KS2 Educator to join our primary school in Barking, London. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering excellent teaching in a KS2 setting.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the needs of KS2 students.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and academic performance.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes social growth and academic achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to provide targeted support for students.
  • Participate in school events and activities that promote community engagement and student well-being.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Utilize effective classroom management strategies to maintain a safe and productive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • KS2 teacher experience
  • QTS or equivalent qualification
  • Recognized teaching qualification, preferably a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
  • Proven experience in teaching KS2 in a mainstream primary or secondary school
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sound knowledge of the national curriculum and its application in class
  • Ability to adapt teaching styles to accommodate different learning styles
  • A passion for teaching and making a difference in students' lives.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position will be paid to scale on a permanent contract, following the MPS/UPS pay scale within Inner London. Our school offers a supportive working environment, opportunities for professional development, and a chance to work with a committed team.
