About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Planning Assistant. As a key member of our planning service, you will play a vital role in delivering excellent customer service and supporting the development of our communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle a caseload of planning applications, including dealing with related appeals and enforcement cases.
  • Engage with applicants and other interested parties on a day-to-day basis, providing excellent customer service.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to deliver high-quality development and customer-focused outcomes.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 qualifications equivalent to NVQ level 2 or GCSE at Grade C/4 or above, including Maths and English.
  • Ability to build customer relationships and resolve routine issues by negotiation.
  • Experience in assessing routine situations and carrying out inspections if required.
  • Ability to remain calm and confident when dealing with challenging customers and environments.
