About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Operations Manager to join our team at JD Gyms. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations of our gym, ensuring that we deliver exceptional customer service and achieve our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To lead and manage the day-to-day running of the gym, including the management of staff and resources.
  • To assume the responsibilities of the General Manager in their absence.
  • To help lead and deliver the commercial performance of the business, including the development of sales and marketing strategies.
  • To help lead and deliver the operational excellence of the club, including the management of facilities and services.
  • To deliver set KPIs and contribute to the overall success of the business.

Requirements:

  • Must have experience in a management position within a leisure-related industry.
  • Must be passionate about customer service and have strong leadership skills.
  • Must be qualified to at least Level 2 Gym Instructor.
  • Must have experience in driving sales and helping to coordinate local marketing activity.
  • Ideally will have experience as an Assistant Manager or have substantial experience as a Fitness Manager or other similar operational function.
