About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Deputy Manager to join our team at our Residential Care Home. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Service Manager and leading the care team to deliver a safe, effective, and efficient care service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Service Manager with day-to-day operations and step in when necessary
  • Lead the care team to ensure high-quality care is delivered to residents
  • Collaborate with the Manager to develop and implement care plans
  • Supervise and mentor care staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide excellent care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures
Requirements
  • SVQ Level 3 in Social Services or Health Care
  • Experience at a senior care level
  • Strong understanding of the needs of our residents
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
