Job Title: Contracts Manager

Russell Taylor Group Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Contracts Manager to join our team in Kent. Our client specializes in Fire Protection and offers a range of passive fire protection services to businesses and homes across the South East, London, and the UK.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a related Contracts Manager role and a comprehensive knowledge of fire stopping procedures and products. Key responsibilities will include:

  • End-to-end project and cost management, from initial brief to sign off.
  • Estimating for and overseeing the installation of various passive fire protection products and intumescent paint.
  • Programming projects and ensuring they are carried out to a high level of detail, following all manufacturer guidelines.
  • Liaising with site management teams to ensure all involved are aware of our work processes.
  • Attending site visits to get a better knowledge of the works required, to assist with quotations.
  • Attending weekly review meetings to ensure deadlines are being met.
  • Producing relevant RAMs and H&S documents, ensuring they are adhered to.
  • Uploading new clients, projects, drawings, and RAMs to the BORIS system.
  • Overall business development, including introductions and client proposals.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a Contracts Manager role.
  • Extensive experience in passive fire protection and intumescent paint.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of fire stopping procedures and products.
  • In-date SMSTS and CSCS tickets.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, both written and verbal.
  • Confident individual, capable of managing any situation on site.
  • Experience with using the BORIS system, both on site and in the office.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Full, valid UK driving license with the willingness and flexibility to travel to sites across the UK at short notice.
