A competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum is on offer for this Stock Controller / Merchandiser position in Greater Manchester.

About the Role

This Stock Controller / Merchandiser role involves assisting with forward planning stocks for multiple customers. The successful candidate will work closely with Key Account Execs/Managers to ensure customer forecast/requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities include coordinating stock orders for promotions with internal departments, consulting with overseas factories to ensure purchase orders are manufactured within agreed lead-time, and optimizing container fills and deliveries into the warehouse with the shipping department & warehouse.

Ensuring correct stock is in the correct location with the warehouse is also a key responsibility. In addition, the successful candidate will assist the stock team with:

  • Using current/historical sales data/ratios to plan buys for new product ranges.
  • Planning rebuys based on forward sales orders.
  • Issuing Weekly Delivery schedule to the team, fully updated with the most recent status.

The successful applicant will be required to review SKU/design performance with senior management as part of the Monthly Commercial Meeting.
