Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a highly skilled Appointed Person to join their team. As the Appointed Person, you will be responsible for ensuring the site remains health and safety compliant and is delivered to the client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and review risk assessments, method statements, fire emergency plans, and critical lift plans to ensure safe and documented procedures.
- Ensure all construction activities are planned and executed in accordance with safety policies, objectives, and manuals.
- Coordinate logistics and deliveries from subcontractors to the site, ensuring smooth and timely operations.
- Conduct DABS briefings, pre-start briefings, and Point of Work Risk Assessments (P.O.W.R.A.).
- Lead site inductions for subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety and operational procedures.
- Relevant experience within civil and structural engineering, ideally working on structural steel projects.
- SMSTS - Site Management Safety Training Scheme.
- IOSH Management Safety.
- CSCS.
- Appointed Person Ticket.
- Lifting Operations experience.
Salary: £60k - £70k. Pension - statutory. Site based.
