Care and Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Care Assistant to join our team at White House Care Home. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, happiness, and dignity of our residents are prioritized every day.
About the Role:
- You will assist residents with daily routines, promoting independence and empowering them to make their own choices.
- You will follow and support each resident's personalized care plan, ensuring their unique needs are met.
- You will monitor residents' health, communicate concerns, and assist with calls to relatives or healthcare professionals when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Empower Independence: Assist residents with daily routines, encouraging independence.
- Personalized Care: Follow and support each resident's personalized care plan.
- Health and Wellbeing: Monitor residents' health, communicate concerns, and assist with calls to relatives or healthcare professionals.
- Champion Dignity: Uphold the dignity and respect of each resident.
- Social Support: Encourage social interactions among residents and with staff.
- Safety and Comfort: Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable living spaces.
- Nutritional Support: Assist residents who need extra help with eating and drinking.
- Spread Smiles: Bring joy to residents' lives and make them smile every day.
About You:
- Qualifications: SVQ/NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is preferred.
- Experience: At least 6 months of experience as a Care Assistant or transferable skills.
- Passion: Genuine interest in caring for the elderly and commitment to delivering excellent service.
- Values: Integrity, respect, and a strong sense of teamwork.
