Pension Implementation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Pension Implementation Associate to join our Configuration Pension Implementation Team at Capita Pensions Solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all aspects of the transition and change project are delivered on time and to a high standard within a controlled project environment.
  • Gather and interpret client requirements and processes, and translate these into system solutions.
  • Manage system configuration activities and quality, facilitating internal and external system training, and providing appropriate documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve client queries and issues, mentoring and coaching Implementation Analysts.
  • Conduct system configuration and testing quality control activities, supporting the technical development of our technology platforms.
  • Undertake system configuration and checking, data analysis activities, and project management tasks, including risk and issue identification and mitigation.

Requirements:

  • Lead on projects and have experience managing/mentoring a team.
  • Have a UK Pension background, with a detailed understanding of DB, DC, CARE, and Annuities, and the ability to explain system and process implications.
  • Be able to explain pension member records, relationships between members, Trustees, schemes, actuaries, funds, and investments, and different types of Pension Schemes.
  • Have strong MS Excel skills, able to draft an automated excel calculator, and good MS Access knowledge.
  • Be able to understand requirements and produce specifications.
