About the Role

We're looking for a talented Senior Business Intelligence Developer to join our team at Yorkshire Building Society. As a key member of our data insights team, you will be responsible for designing and developing data solutions that unlock the data and insights necessary to support our business transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop business intelligence solutions that are reliable, scalable, flexible, and provide key insights to the right people at the right time.
  • Work closely with our internal customers across various teams to gather requirements and effectively plan and deliver value-add BI solutions.
  • Develop, maintain, or amend the semantic layer and/or data marts required for reporting/insight purposes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to understand and resolve problems within the Business Intelligence architecture.
  • Effectively gather and analyze business and data requirements for value-driven insight solutions.

About You

As a successful candidate, you will have strong technical skills, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to build strong working relationships across different business functions. You will also have hands-on experience of capturing business & data requirements, strong knowledge of visualization tools, and development experience in BI technologies such as Tableau, SAP Business Objects, and SQL.
