As a Cancer Care Assistant, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our clinical teams, nursing staff, and consultants. Your tasks will include preparing specialist trolleys, maintaining a clean environment, and contributing to building strong relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare specialist trolleys prior to clinics and procedures
  • Maintain clean environment, adhering to infection control policy
  • Participate in provision of care to patients as directed by nurses, radiographer or consultants
  • Promote the centre as a provider of high-quality healthcare
  • Obtain blood and other samples from patients and ensure their correct and safe storage and transportation to the laboratory
  • Assist radiographers in MRI and PET CT suites when required
Requirements:
  • NVQ level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Experience in the healthcare sector
  • Awareness of UK health environment, customer care, and data protection

We offer a competitive salary of £22,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including annual leave, private medical coverage, and access to Employee Assistance Program.
