Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and roll out an enterprise-wide data governance framework, focusing on improving data quality, maximizing reuse, and derived value of data through modifications to organizational behavior.
  • Collaborate with Business Units and Functional areas to ensure that data-related business requirements are clearly defined, communicated, integrated into daily processes, and considered as part of operational prioritization and planning.
  • Facilitate the development and implementation of data quality standards across the enterprise.
  • Implement and drive maintenance of the data catalog with consideration for data discoverability, compliance, privacy, information security, and quality.
  • Lead data governance delivery streams to assist Business Units and Functional areas in becoming compliant with the data governance operating model.
  • Define success indicators for monitoring performance and quality, tracking progress, and ensuring business compliance.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for escalation of data-related queries and data quality issues for Business Units and Functional area data governance representatives.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • At least 5-7 years of experience in operational data and/or data governance-related roles.
  • Knowledge of and experience with data governance practices, including business and technology issues related to the management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data protection.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with change management concepts and strategies related to data management projects, including communication, culture change, and performance measurement system design.
  • Knowledge of data catalog and data quality tooling, including deployment and adoption.
  • Excellent communication & collaboration skills.
