Global Markets Division Overview

The Global Markets Division at Goldman Sachs enables clients to execute complex transactions across various asset classes and geographies. Our team works closely with sophisticated institutions, governments, and corporates to deliver exceptional execution, outcomes, and client experiences.

Margin Engineering Role

As a Margin Engineering Software Developer, you will be part of a global team responsible for building, improving, and adapting the Margin platform to meet business, client, regulatory, operational, and technical needs. You will participate in the analysis, design, development, testing, and documentation of our Margin platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the entire SDLC from definition of requirements through deployment and support
  • Evolving the platform to meet business, client, regulatory, operational, and technical needs
  • Collaborate with a global Business and Operations user-base across the Global Markets Division and Core Engineering teams
  • Gain technical expertise and practical experience in managing mission-critical platforms from technical experts within and outside the team
Requirements
  • Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills; must be a self-starter
  • Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative environment working with a diverse set of colleagues and stakeholders across regions
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development
