Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Global Banking School. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our staff, students, and campus visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage campus security systems, including CCTV, access control, and protective systems.
  • Provide a courteous and efficient front-of-house service during college hours, responding to incidents and faults as necessary.
  • Conduct regular inspections of premises and equipment to ensure buildings, valuables, and people are safe and secure.
  • Supervise the door and provide guidance and advice to visitors, clients, contractors, and staff.
  • Compile accurate incident reports and maintain a high level of awareness and situational awareness.
Requirements
  • Ability to interact with employees, contractors, consultants, visitors, and management, as well as local police and fire authorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in working in a similar role and a strong understanding of security techniques and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Door Supervisor License - SIA door supervisor.
  • Knowledge of security techniques and procedures.
  • Knowledge of site and local emergency procedures.
