About the Position

The Development Associate will be responsible for managing the organization's grant calendar, leading proposal and report writing, and maintaining an active list of funding prospects. This is a critical role in securing funding for Breakthrough's innovative programs, which provide academic enrichment and college preparation to middle school and high school students.

In addition to grant writing and management, the Development Associate will support donor cultivation and stewardship activities, assist with development and marketing communications, and manage the organization's development database.

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual who is passionate about education and social justice. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of relevant work experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements and Qualifications

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be $55,000-$65,000 per year, depending on experience. Breakthrough Twin Cities offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
