The Geosciences division within RSK Group Ltd is one of the UK's largest environmental consultancies. We are seeking an Environmental Manager to join our growing team in Derby, working alongside an experienced team on a vast array of development projects.

As an Environmental Manager, you will provide environmental advice on surface water management and environmental incidents on a wide range of projects primarily in the East Midlands.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Production of environmental management plans, including Pollution Prevention and Surface Water Management Plans for construction sites.
  • Auditing construction sites for compliance with Surface Water Management Plans.
  • Advising clients on meeting UK regulatory requirements for Surface Water Management and associated waste permits/exemptions.
  • Liaison with regulators, including the Environment Agency/National Resources Wales.
  • Response/management of environmental incidents, including fuel/oil spillage, silt discharges, and effluent discharges.
  • Advice and on-site training of clients on issues including ecology, contamination, and waste management.
  • Production of quotations/tenders for new projects.
  • Management of clients and projects.

We are looking for individuals with between 2 and 10 years minimum experience in the environmental sector, able to deliver projects and work within a multi-disciplinary consultancy.
