About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Owner to join our team at Kerridge Commercial Systems, a leading provider of business management solutions for distributors, suppliers, resellers, wholesalers, and merchants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of the product backlog and manage the delivery of new features or fixes for our business management solutions.
  • Work with our Development Team to ensure clear priorities and development goals that deliver maximum value to our customers and the business.
  • Elicit customer and stakeholder requirements, translating them into features and product backlog items that meet the acceptance criteria.
  • Manage, refine, and prioritize the product backlog to ensure it is in a healthy state for release planning.
  • Actively participate in Agile team ceremonies to help coach the team on the minimal viable solution needed to solve users' problems.
  • Set sprint goals for the Development Team and manage and report any release delivery risk to Product/Project Management teams.
  • Review release documentation to ensure it articulates change benefits and carry out user acceptance testing before any release is completed.
Requirements
  • Experience in working with different levels of people to solicit requirements, focusing on problem and value statements.
  • Experience in creating, maintaining, and prioritizing product backlogs using product management tools.
  • Experience in working within an Agile delivery framework for business management software development companies.
  • Experience in leading, developing, and coaching a team to build a collaborative self-organized culture and team spirit.
  • Working knowledge of overall software development life cycle processes and best practices.
  • Working knowledge of the Kerridge Commercial Systems markets, customers, and use cases for our core ERP products.
