HR Business Partner - Strategic People Lead

This is an exciting opportunity to lead HR for a progressive, entrepreneurial Tech firm based in Milton Keynes. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop strong relationships with senior leaders, creating a strategic people plan and executing it, supported by the Centre of Excellence team.
  • Manage a broad generalist remit, including engagement, talent, development, ER, disciplinary, performance, recruitment, compensation, and benefits, as well as projects.
  • Advise and coach managers on best practices, support team structures, development, workforce planning, and solutions.
  • Drive culture and values, work with global teams, and design and implement new initiatives.
  • Think outside the box, be creative, and put your stamp on the role.
  • Report to the Head of People and Culture, who will support and guide, but also allow for autonomy.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in an HR role, preferably as a HRBP or HR Manager, or a Senior HR Advisor looking to step up in a smaller business.
  • Strong UK employment law knowledge and UK practices, with the ability to lead projects and gain credibility across the senior leadership team.
  • Strategic experience, possibly leading projects or working with senior leaders, is key.
  • Ideal background in a smaller-sized business, preferably in the tech space or something similar, with a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
  • Generalist HR background with exposure to all elements of HR, with the ability to work independently and come up with complex solutions.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships.
