Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Server Build Engineer to work on our infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing automated builds, developing deployment strategies for multiple Windows Server builds, and ensuring the security requirements of our infrastructure platform are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automated builds for Windows Server
- Develop deployment strategies for multiple Windows Server builds
- Ensure the security requirements of our infrastructure platform are met
- Design and implement a HyperV infrastructure, including automated provisioning of VMs
- Develop Windows Server firewall configurations
- Integrate packaged applications into the server provisioning
- Produce Group Policy Objects and PowerShell scripts to implement security profiles
- Produce High Level and Low Level design documentation for the above
- Produce transition plans and user documentation
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have experience with MECM/SCCM, VSphere, and ESX, as well as knowledge of CESG guidance and DISA STIGs. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for this role.
