About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pupil Support Officer to join our Admin Team at Holly Park Primary School. The successful candidate will provide first aid, pastoral, and welfare support to our pupils and staff, while also being a member of our Pastoral Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first aid and administer medication as necessary
  • Keep records of accidents and write care plans
  • Liaise with the kitchen staff about allergies and ensure first aid supplies are up to date
  • Report attendance and accidents to Governors through the Headteacher's report
  • Receive safeguarding training and be a member of the Safeguarding Team
  • Monitor attendance daily and half-termly, including accurate record-keeping and liaison with families and the Educational Welfare Officer
  • Be responsible for school admissions and leavers, and liaise with Barnet Admissions Team
  • Assist in the smooth running of the office, including answering telephone calls and welcoming visitors

Requirements

A current First Aid qualification is essential for this role. Experience of working in schools in similar roles would be an advantage. Ongoing training in key areas will be made available to the successful candidate regardless of their experience.
