About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at the AFI group of companies. As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the finance team in preparing divisional monthly management accounts and acting as a business partner to directors and managers of various divisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate, timely, and well-presented management accounts information, including comparisons with budget, forecast, and prior year.
  • Business Partnering: Develop and maintain relationships with directors and managers to provide financial information and support business decision-making.
  • Financial Analysis: Offer independent challenges to colleagues on financial performance and provide insights to improve financial management.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Manage balance sheet reconciliations and support the business in controlling an extensive rental fixed asset base.
  • Payroll and Treasury: Assist with running a UK payroll and supporting the finance team in group treasury, cash flow forecasting, and cash management activities.
