About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Engineer to join our team at VolkerStevin, a leading civil engineering business within the VolkerWessels UK Group. As a Site Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects, working closely with our site teams and stakeholders to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate site activities to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery.
  • Develop and implement site-specific safety plans, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation and scheduling.
  • Monitor and control site costs, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Lead and motivate site teams to achieve exceptional performance and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination with internal teams, including procurement, logistics, and quality assurance.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues, ensuring proactive problem-solving and resolution.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of company-wide initiatives and best practices.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to exceptional quality standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire site teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and service excellence.
