Senior Video Editor / Colourist

Apple is seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior Video Editor / Colourist to join its EMEIA Sales Training & Programs team.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional visual storytelling skills, with the ability to create high-quality content that engages and persuades audiences. In this dual role, you will be responsible for editing raw video footage into polished, engaging final products and performing colour correction and grading to enhance the visual aesthetics.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Edit raw footage into cohesive and compelling video content, adhering to project guidelines and creative direction.
  2. Assemble footage, create sequences, add transitions, and integrate visual and audio elements, ensuring seamless transitions between different camera angles.
  3. Ensure the final edit meets all technical specifications, including aspect ratios, resolution, and file formats.
  4. Create and integrate engaging motion graphics (titles, transitions, and other visual elements) and animations that enhance the visual appeal and storytelling of the video content.
  5. Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and incorporate feedback.
  6. Perform colour correction to adjust exposure, contrast, and colour balance, ensuring consistency across all footage.
  7. Apply colour grading techniques to enhance the mood and style of the video.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in video editing and colour grading, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in both areas.
  • Expert level of proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
  • Expert level of proficiency in colour grading software (e.g., DaVinci Resolve, Adobe SpeedGrade, Premiere Pro).
  • Proficiency in sound mixing and mastering, with the ability to work with multi-track split audio.
  • Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques.
  • Excellent attention to detail, visual storytelling, and continuity.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Film Production, Media Studies, Digital Media, Cinematography, or a related field.
