Job Title: Midweight Video Editor

We are seeking a highly skilled Midweight Video Editor to join our team on a fixed-term contract for 6 months. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in editing branded content for online platforms, working to tight deadlines, and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Edit high-quality video content using Adobe Premiere, working on commercial, social, and marketing projects.
  • Undertake animation and motion graphics tasks at a high level, ensuring creative and engaging visuals.
  • Assist senior editors as needed, working under their direction and guidance.
  • Support ad-hoc shoot duties, such as DITing, and ensure all content meets brand guidelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with video trends and share knowledge with the team.
  • Colour correct and grade images and videos, conforming to broadcast and social standards.
  • Sources audio tracks and sound mixes edits, creating well-mastered tracks across multiple layers.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3+ years of full-time experience in a similar role at a production company, post-house, agency, publisher, or brand.
  • Professional experience of the Adobe Creative Suite, with exceptional proficiency in Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop.
  • High level of proficiency in colour grading using Adobe Premiere.
  • High level of proficiency in sound mixing and mastering.
  • Passion for social and branded content.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative, problem-solving, and creativity on a daily basis.
  • Confident in Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
