Job Title: Lead Performance Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Performance Engineer to join our team at the Recruitment Bunker. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of vehicle quality standards, ensuring that all vehicles meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement vehicle quality standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Lead the Vehicle Audit team in creating and reviewing craftsmanship standards, ensuring that every vehicle meets those standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve vehicle quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct vehicle audits to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
  • Support the recruitment and training of new members of the inspection and audit team.
  • Work closely with production teams to ensure that all vehicles meet the complete vehicle quality standard in line with the product development timing and running changes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an auditing role, static and dynamic audits, working on vehicle Quality Assurance within the automotive industry within an OEM.
  • Knowledge of Inspection and auditing processes.
  • Experience of creating and implementing databases and systems for capturing, recording, and analyzing recorded information.
  • Knowledge and understanding of working ISO9001/IATF16949 and other relevant quality management systems (preferred but not essential).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on root cause analysis.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • IT literate – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
