As a Senior Human Factors Specialist, you will be part of a dynamic team that works closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, and optimize system performance.

Salary

We offer a highly competitive salary for this role, ranging from £60,000 to £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive a range of benefits, including a pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance, and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan.

Job Description

As a Senior Human Factors Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical direction to engineers and supporting the development of individuals and teams to enhance their skills and competencies. You will also undertake assessments of functional design and provide qualification and evidence for acceptance, fitness for purpose, legislative requirements, and safety.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing technical guidance and support to engineers and project managers

• Conducting assessments of functional design and providing evidence for acceptance and safety

• Developing and implementing safety cases and risk management strategies

• Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks

• Supporting the development of individuals and teams to enhance their skills and competencies

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• A Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent level of capability

• A degree in Human Factors or Psychology

• Previous experience of writing assessments and safety reports

• Previous experience of influencing and managing stakeholders at different levels
