Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Highways Infrastructure Planner to join our team at Access Talent Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing transportation plans and strategies for various civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive transportation plans that take into account traffic flow, safety, and environmental impact.
  • Assess traffic impacts and propose innovative solutions to address potential issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate transportation plans with overall project designs.
  • Utilize advanced transportation modelling software to simulate and analyze the impact of proposed transportation plans.
  • Stay current with industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices in transportation planning.
  • Prepare high-quality reports and presentations to communicate transportation plans and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Transportation Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in transportation planning, traffic engineering, or related roles.
  • Proficiency in transportation modelling software such as VISSIM, Synchro, or Cube.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess and propose solutions for transportation challenges.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities to convey complex transportation plans to clients and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with relevant transportation regulations and environmental standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals.

Estimated Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this role is £42,500 - £52,500 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
