Infrastructure Planner

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Planner to join our team in Yorkshire. As an integral part of our civil engineering consultancy, you will play a key role in designing and implementing transportation infrastructure plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop transportation infrastructure plans, considering factors such as traffic flow, safety, and environmental impact.
- Collaborate with engineers, urban planners, and local authorities to integrate transportation plans with overall project designs.
- Use transportation modelling software to simulate and analyse the impact of proposed transportation plans.
- Stay updated with industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices in transportation planning.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate transportation plans and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Transportation Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in transportation planning, traffic engineering, or related roles.
- Proficiency in transportation modelling software such as VISSIM, Synchro, or Cube.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess and propose solutions for transportation challenges.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities to convey complex transportation plans to clients and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with relevant transportation regulations and environmental standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals.
