About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Intervention Tutor to join our team, working with students across Key Stages 1 to 4 in the Newcastle area. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on students' learning journeys, helping them to bridge gaps in their Maths and English skills.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver targeted intervention sessions in Maths and English to students, providing additional support to help them excel in these core subjects.
  2. Plan and implement engaging lessons that are aligned with the curriculum and tailored to the individual needs of each student.
  3. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them overcome learning barriers.
  4. Establish a supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence in their abilities.
  5. Work collaboratively with parents/guardians to ensure students are progressing towards their learning goals.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience working with primary and secondary age students (KS1 to KS4).
  • A strong understanding of the Maths and English curriculum.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
  • A passion for teaching and the ability to adapt your teaching style to meet individual learning needs.
