We are seeking a passionate Intervention Tutor to work with students across Key Stages 1 to 4 in the Newcastle area. This role offers the flexibility of both part-time and full-time opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver targeted intervention sessions in Maths and English to both primary and secondary students.
- Plan and implement engaging lessons that are aligned with the curriculum and tailored to the individual needs of each student.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to help them overcome learning barriers.
- Create a supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence in their abilities.
- Work closely with parents/guardians to ensure the student is progressing towards their learning goals.
- Experience working with primary and secondary age students (KS1 to KS4).
- A strong understanding of the Maths and English curriculum.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
