Questech Recruitment Ltd is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Planner to join the team at one of our well-established clients based in North Lincolnshire.
The Role:
The purpose of this role is to have overall responsibility for the planning and scheduling of preventative and corrective maintenance activities within the maintenance operations team.
As Maintenance Planner, you will be the key communicator between production operations and the maintenance teams, ensuring that maintenance operations are carried out efficiently and in a timely manner.
You will provide analysis and insight into engineering operations to drive continuous improvement and work closely with the plant engineers and stores team to ensure adequate resource and spares are available.
You will also ensure that maintenance & reliability programmes and project upgrades are carried out safely and efficiently to the required standard and within budget.
As maintenance planner, you will be champion of our agility maintenance management ensuring all required information is inputted correctly and in a timely manner.
The Shifts:
Monday to Friday
Salary:
£43,000 - £45,000 (DOE)
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for initial screening of incoming work orders, identification of scope, and analysis of required level of planning.
- Conducts field walks to identify and document job requirements.
- Identifies specific safety hazards that will be encountered in the performance of the proposed work.
- Accurately measures the maintenance backlog in its various forms.
- Ensures all work orders and maintenance log items are closed when work is finished.
- Participates in outage planning activities such as scope identification and control, scheduling, coordination, risk assessment, execution, and continuous improvement.
- Participates with Reliability Department personnel on improvement projects, particularly when they are related to the proactive maintenance plan (CBM and PM).
- Compiles and delivers reports from CMMS regarding the work execution management process.
- Acts as the liaison between operations, maintenance, engineering, planning, and contractors with regard to the development of the weekly maintenance work schedule.
- Communicates with maintenance supervisors on schedule changes and daily coordination issues.
- Oversees the scheduling of proactive work to include predictive and preventive work and notifies the management team of shortcomings in the execution of these tasks.
- Provide required KPI's as requested by the senior management team.

- Comply with the documented Company Management System (CMS) and the Company handbook.
Required Experience:
- Extensive experience in heavy industrial maintenance.
- Demonstrable Knowledge & Expertise in Maintenance Planning on Industrial Plant & Equipment.
- Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude.
