GSE Vehicle Technician Lead

As a skilled GSE/HGV Technician with CDM Recruitment, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of complex projects and develop your expertise in heavy goods equipment maintenance.
The role requires a high level of mechanical aptitude, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out comprehensive repairs and maintenance tasks on GSE and HGV vehicles and equipment.
- Conducting detailed inspections to identify potential issues and reporting these to the Workshop Supervisor.
- Collaborating with the Workshop Supervisor to diagnose and resolve complex problems.
- Preparing and submitting accurate documentation, including job cards and inspection sheets.
- Ensuring the efficient storage and labeling of parts, including warranty and exchange units.
- Identifying and reporting defective tools and equipment to the site Workshop Supervisor.
- LGV qualifications and City & Guilds Level 3 in motor mechanics.
- Forklift certification (desired).
- Operational vehicle/logistical experience.
- Customer-focused environment experience.
- Prior experience in vehicle maintenance.
Salary: £58,000 - £73,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
