About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Degrees Officer to join UCL Eastman Dental Institute, where they will be responsible for providing effective support to research degree students and staff. This will involve timely and accurate management of student records and advising on regulations and procedures for research degree programmes.

The postholder will play a key role in delivering a high-quality service to students and staff, embedding a culture of operational excellence across UCL in the creation and maintenance of research student records.

Responsibilities
  • Manage student records and provide advice on regulations and procedures
  • Work closely with academic departments to raise awareness of regulatory and process issues
  • Deliver a high-quality service to students and staff
About You

We are looking for an experienced administrative professional who has worked in a higher education institution in a busy support role. The successful candidate will have experience of using student information systems, preferably SITS, advising on complex regulatory matters and working with sensitive and confidential data.

You will have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise your own workload and work effectively as part of a team. You will also have excellent IT and communication skills, including the ability to convey complex information to audiences with varying concerns and levels of understanding.
