The Role

We are seeking a Manager to lead and develop our well-established Construction Materials Department. This is a high level position reporting directly to the Managing Partner for the firm. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and leading a team of six staff members.

Responsibilities and Expectations

The role involves advising on and overseeing the testing of various construction materials including concretes, aggregates, renders, mortars, stone, brick, screeds and flooring materials (including slip resistance testing). You will also be responsible for undertaking testing both on site and in the lab, as well as taking samples for later testing.

Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have significant previous experience in construction materials testing and an extensive knowledge of concrete. Strong English language skills are essential, both written and verbal. Additionally, report writing skills and a practical nature are necessary.
