Job Title: Neonatal Hepatitis B Immunisation Nurse

European LifeCare Group is a leading provider of vaccination clinics and on-site vaccination programs across Denmark, the UK, and the Netherlands. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Neonatal Hepatitis B Immunisation Nurse to join our team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating the safe and effective delivery of neonatal Hepatitis B vaccination program activity in a specified locality, within the homes of eligible babies. This will involve undertaking home visits to assess and vaccinate eligible babies at the age of ~4 weeks and 12 months old, as well as advising parents on pre-requisites and contra-indications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake home visits to assess and vaccinate eligible babies
  • Advise parents on pre-requisites and contra-indications
  • Contribute to the identification and protection of children at risk of abuse
  • Maintain statutory and mandatory training records
  • Provide support and guidance to junior staff members
  • Promote collaborative working with parents, carers, and families
  • Maintain legible and contemporaneous records
  • Comply with all relevant regulations and organisational guidance
Requirements:
  • RN (NMC registered) – adult or child branch, live on NMC register
  • Evidence of continuous personal and professional development
  • Practical knowledge of national and local policy relating to neonatal Hepatitis B immunisation program
  • Effective communication skills with children and adults
  • Experience of paediatric immunisation and medicines management
  • Car driver with use of a car or ability to travel between locations
