We are seeking a Hydraulic System Lead to join our Wastewater Team in Sheffield. As a key member of our team, you will lead one of our hydraulic modelling frameworks for a leading UK Water Company. This is a highly technical role that requires expertise in hydraulic modelling, catchment planning, and solution development.

About the Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for leading model build, model maintenance, and verification projects, as well as developing and delivering wastewater catchment strategies and solutions. You will also be expected to supervise and develop staff, providing guidance to support their professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Leading Storm Overflows Discharge Reduction Plan, flood alleviation, and environmental solution development projects.
  2. Developing and delivering wastewater catchment strategies and solutions.
  3. Managing project teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record in coordinating and delivering technically excellent projects.
  • Expertise in hydraulic modelling, catchment planning, and solution development.
  • Ability to review work of others to provide quality assurance and drive continuous improvement in work delivered to the client.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary (around £65,000-£85,000 per annum), 25 days' annual leave, plus bank holidays, and options to buy or sell additional leave.
