Senior Care Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Affinity Care Recruitment. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their dignity and individuality are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities:- Care Delivery and Planning: Contribute to the assessment of need of each resident, develop and implement individual care plans, and ensure that care plans are reviewed and updated regularly.
- Medication Management: Ensure that medication is administered correctly, maintain accurate medication records, and ensure that there is always an appropriately trained person available to carry out medication rounds.
- Staff Supervision and Development: Supervise and support care staff, provide guidance and training, and ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibilities and roles.
- Communication and Teamwork: Maintain effective communication with residents, relatives, and colleagues, and work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of the care home.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that the care home is maintained in a safe and secure environment, report any incidents or accidents, and participate in health and safety audits and training.
- Experience in a care setting, preferably in a senior role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of care standards and regulations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
