Senior Care Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Affinity Care Recruitment. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their dignity and individuality are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities:- Care Delivery and Planning: Contribute to the assessment of need of each resident, develop and implement individual care plans, and ensure that care plans are reviewed and updated regularly.
- Medication Management: Ensure that medication is administered correctly, maintain accurate medication records, and ensure that there is always an appropriately trained person available to carry out medication rounds.
- Resident Support: Assist residents with their personal care needs, promote independence, and encourage residents to take decisions in matters affecting their quality of life.
- Teamwork and Communication: Work collaboratively with the management team, staff, and residents to ensure that the home runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that the home maintains a safe and secure environment for residents, staff, and visitors, and report any incidents or accidents to the management team.
- Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in care or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in a care setting, with a focus on senior care.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
