Nuffield Health is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Records Filing Clerk to join our team at Brentwood Hospital. As a Medical Records Filing Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional administrative support to our healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately file and maintain medical records in a secure and confidential manner
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as GDPR and HIPAA
- Provide administrative support to healthcare teams, including data entry, document scanning, and filing
- Develop and maintain filing systems and procedures to ensure efficient and accurate record-keeping
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to resolve record-keeping issues and ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in medical records or a related field
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems
