Job Title: Senior Scrub Nurse - ODP - Orthopaedics

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Scrub Nurse to join our Orthopaedic team at Springfield Hospital. As a key member of our theatre team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supporting our surgeons in delivering exceptional clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform the scrub role in Consultant-led surgeries, varying in complexity and specialism
  • Work across a range of specialisms, including orthopaedics, hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty, and anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient theatre operations
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of theatre policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Current NMC/HCPC registration
  • Flexible and positive attitude
  • A warm, considerate, and empathetic character
  • Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) - desirable but not essential
