As a GP with Health Alliance PCN, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, following the GMS contract and Enhanced Services objectives.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across multiple practices, all rated 'Good' or 'Outstanding' by the CQC.

Main duties include conducting routine and urgent appointments, prescribing according to local and national guidelines, handling home visits, and managing administrative tasks.

The role also involves participating in on-call sessions, supporting Extended Hours services, and collaborating with other health and social care providers to deliver integrated care.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality patient care, following the GMS contract and Enhanced Services objectives.
  • Conduct routine and urgent appointments, both face-to-face and via telephone.
  • Prescribe according to local and national guidelines.
  • Handle home visits for routine and emergency cases.
  • Manage administrative tasks, such as letters, results, referrals, and emails.
  • Make appropriate referrals and manage related admin.
  • Check and sign repeat prescriptions to maintain care quality.
  • Provide cover for colleagues in emergencies.
  • Participate in on-call sessions as per pro-rata hours.
  • Support Extended Hours services.
  • Collaborate with other health and social care providers to deliver integrated care.
  • Maintain accurate consultation records using the Emis system.
  • Offer clinical support to colleagues.
