Job Description

We are seeking a skilled HV Switchgear Technician to join our team in London.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical, mechanical, and fabric maintenance on a portfolio of commercial office buildings in London.

They will be required to maintain high voltage electrical switchgear, including basic testing and installation, as well as have a good working knowledge of HV/LV electrical substations and equipment.

A competitive salary of £50,000 is being offered, along with a van and fuel card, overtime, further training, and career progression opportunities.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will have experience in reviewing and signing off critical switching and complex RAMS for electrical work, as well as having a good understanding of HV networks.

Requirements include current edition IEE: Wiring and Installation Regulations or equivalent mechanical engineering qualification, as well as a strong apprenticeship background.
