Production Manager Job Description

Are you a seasoned production professional looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Manager to join our team at Vickerstock.

As a Production Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our business, driving operational excellence and ensuring the smooth running of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Creation and implementation of production plans to maximize yield and minimize downtime and waste.
  • Leadership and management of production staff to ensure they are operating at full optimization.
  • Continuous improvement and quality focus, maintaining quality management systems and standards.
  • Recommendation of improvements to production processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment at a similar level.
  • High-level understanding of operating integrity, quality systems, and compliance.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Flexibility with regards to working hours, including night and weekend shifts.
Desirable Skills:
  • Understanding of MRP systems.
  • Experience in Lean initiatives.
  • NEBOSH certificate.
